Richie Schwartz is in his 36th year as a full time photographer and is based in the NYC/Long Island area. His early years were spent shooting babies and families, models, and schools. He opened his own studio in the late 80s specializing in schools, in-home baby portraits, and weddings and events. In 2002 he sold his studio and with some partners in Canada created a pet photography company that took their idea of bringing mobile photo studios to pet stores to the two biggest chains, Petco and Petsmart. By mid 2003, the company was providing pet photography at 600 of these pet stores across 33 states and Canada. Leaving the company in 2006,and coming back to NY full time, Richie opened his Pets Photography Studio, and again partnered with Petco across NY, NJ, CT.
